The Wii U Will Take a 4.2GB Hit to Memory

Home > The Wii U Will Take a 4.2GB Hit to Memory
In a Japanese Nintendo Direct last night, the Wii U's flash memory was explored. The Basic Wii U package will have 8GB and the Premium package will have 32GB flash memory, but it has now been confirmed that when you use the Wii U, format it and such the Basic package will only have 7.2GB and the Premium package will only have 29GB storage space.
Nintendo then went on to explain that other data (accounts, etc.) will take up another 4.2GB!
This means that the Wii U Basic package will be left with a measly 3GB flash memory and the Premium with only 25GB!
What do you think of the flash memory on both devices? Will you be buying an external hard drive to make up for the memory lost?
