Nintendo Takes All Top 10 Spots in the Japanese Software Charts

Home > Nintendo Takes All Top 10 Spots in the Japanese Software Charts
The Nintendo 3DS were at the top of the hardware sales in Japan this week despite a slight decrease in sales, while Nintendo itself took a perfect 10 of the top 10 software slots. Sales of the 3DS slipped about 1.5 per cent, falling from 108,897 units sold last week to 107,140 sold between August 13th – 19th. New Super Mario Bros. easily secured the top software slot, selling 152,026 copies for the week; a figure which is nearly triple that of the second ranked title, Pokemon Black & White 2. Four other 3DS titles including Demon Training combined with four Wii titles to give Nintendo a lock on the top ten. Source
