Poco Tuesday: Games That Should be on eShop

Home > Poco Tuesday: Games That Should be on eShop
Hey everyone, Pocodudeface here with another article, this time with games that aren’t (yet) on the 3DS eshop, that I think should be. I’ve also kindly included a price that I think is fair. 10 - Pacman/Frogger/Dig Dug - $2.99 - Even though Nintendo doesn’t own these three games, I believe these classics should make their way to the eshop. It would also be cool if they bundled all three together, for a discounted price. 9 - Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters - $4.99 - The second (and least known) installment in the Kid Icarus series is one that definitely needs to make a trip to the eshop. Nintendo has already announced that the game will be showing up at some point; if Nintendo want to make a lot off of it, however, they are going to have to get it released very soon, before the Kid Icarus: Uprising hype dies down. 8 - Metroid: Zero Mission - $5.99 - Being my personal favorite Metroid title, I really think Zero Mission would be a big hit on the eshop. It would be cool to see Super Metroid launched with it. 7 - Donkey Kong Country - $9.99 - I know this is kind of a stretch, and that the eshop is really only meant for handheld titles, but I think some Super Nintendo titles would also bring in some cash. Donkey Kong Country (and its sequels) is one of the best platformers ever, and I think it would be nice for a younger generation to experience the games as well. 6 - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - $9.99 - Widely considered to be one of the best Zelda games, I think A Link to the Past would be a great game for the eshop. I’ve always personally found this game more enjoyable on a handheld system, and this is just one more way to play it. 5 - Animal Crossing: Wild World - $14.99 - I know, I know, you probably think I’m crazy for even suggesting a DS title. However, I personally enjoy Wild World the most out of the three animal crossing games, and I think Animal Crossing is well suited for a handheld. I think launching this with the launch of Animal Crossing 3D would be a great idea. The only down side to this is that it might affect the DS version’s sales. 4 - Harvest Moon - $4.99 - $14.99 - When I say Harvest Moon I’m referring to the series, not the game. This being said, I couldn’t really pick one Harvest Moon to be put on the eshop, any would do really. I just really want to see a Harvest Moon game. HM SNES and 64 would be awesome. 3 - Earth Bound (Mother) -$9.99 - Never making it’s way outside of Japan, I think the eshop would be the perfect way to change that for Earth Bound. I can’t really say all that much, as I don’t really know anything about the game or series, except that I want to play it pretty badly. 2 - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of ______ - $7.99 - This refers to both Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. Neither of these games are too popular, and implementing them on the eshop would definitely give them a popularity boost. It would also be awesome if Nintendo implemented a way for the games to work together, like they can on Gameboy Color, between two 3DS’s. 1 - Pokemon - $9.99 - This one is pretty obvious, and to be quite frank, I can’t believe Nintendo hasn’t done it already. When I say Pokemon, I mean everything form Red/Blue/Yellow to Firered/Leafgreen. I think everyone of those games should be on the eshop. What would really be cool though, is if you could trade and battle between 3DS’s. Even people who already own the games would repurchase them, for this alone, as not many people have Gameboys and wires to connect them anymore. A way to trade online would also be amazing.
