The Nintendo Switch 2 direct was capped off with a brand new and unexpected game reveal. Donkey Kong Bananza is a 3D Donkey Kong game coming exclusively to Switch 2. It features the new (retro?) Donkey Kong design first seen in Mario Kart World.

Gamecube Games are Coming to Switch 2 Online

One of the best pieces of news from the Switch 2 Direct was that Nintendo Switch Online will be continuing in its current form. There's no need for a new (or more expensive) subscription and we'll have access to all the classic games available on Switch

Mario Kart World Will be a Switch 2 Launch Title

The Switch 2 Direct opened with more details on the new Mario Kart game that was first teased back in January. Mario Kart World will be a launch title (June 5) on Switch 2. The big catch of the game is that it's somewhat open world.

Tomodachi Life is Getting a Sequel on Switch

Perhaps the biggest surprise in today's Nintendo Direct was the announcement of a new Tomodachi Life game. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a follow up to the cult classic Tomodachi Life on 3DS.
