Earlier today, Nintendo has officially announced who would be Nintendo's new president. Tatsumi Kimishima, a new face to many, will be taking over Iwata's position at Nintendo as President. Kimishima will be Nintendo's first president since the death of Satoru Iwata back in July of this year. Check out more on Nintendo's new president after the break.

Tatsumi may not be known to many fans of Nintendo, but has in the past been president of the Pokemon Company USA, and has also been president of Nintendo of America. Genyo Takeda and Shigeru Miyamoto, who had both been in charge of Nintendo since Iwata's death will remain at the company, both as a Representative Director and a Senior Managing Director, with Takeda taking the title of "Technology Fellow", while Miyamoto assumes the title of "Creative Fellow". He looks like he won't be as fun and fan based as Iwata was... I hope the Nintendo Directs still keep happening. We will see what happens...
