Using a Super Bell, climb the wall to the right after exiting the first cave to find Green Star Number 1.
Just after the checkpoint flag, bounce on top of the giant ants to get to a warp pipe in the wall. You can then either climb the wall using a Super Bell or bounce on the ants to get Green Star Number 2.
Green Star Number 3 is found hovering above some spikes and can bet obtained by bouncing on the giant ants and letting them carry you to the right.
There is a purple Warp Block in a small alcove in the wall in the first cave. Once you take it, jump across the piranhas to collect Green Star Number 1.
Green Star Number 2 is at the bottom of the first water area in the cave.
There is a green star ring on the rotating platforms in the last toxic swamp area. Go through it and avoid the piranhas while collecting green coins to get Green Star Number 3.
Defeat all four Brolders by jumping on them and tossing them into the lava to get Green Star Number 1.
Avoid the Boomerang Bro and Green Star Number 1, which is floating above a beep block, is yours.
Take the warp pipe before the giant beep block slide and collect all the blue coins to get Green Star Number 2. The more double cherry clones you have the easier this will be.
Using at least on Double Cherry, step on the set of P Switches at the end of the level and Green Star Number 3 can be collected.
Jump on the three green spring enemies and one will turn into a spring. This will give you access to Green Star Number 1 in an alcove above.
Using either a Super Bell or carrying a spring enemy over, climb/jump up to the two elevating mushroom bounce pads near the checkpoint flag and claim Green Star Number 2.
Green Star Number 3 is found inside a purple Warp Box. Defeat all three green spring enemies and one will turn into a spring.
Green Star Number 1 is in an area that can be accessed by a green warp pipe. Run across all the blue switches while avoiding spikes to collect it.
Using a Super Bell, climb up the wall to your left after the incline ramp of spike logs. Keep running to your left and you'll find Green Star Number 2.
Towards the end of the level you'll find Green Star Number 3 on a single swaying platform. Hop over to it while avoiding the spike logs.
Defeat all three Fire. Bros while avoiding their fire balls and you'll get Green Star Number 1.
Grab the first Brolder you come across, and use it and your character on the two P Switches to drop a bridge that leads to Green Star Number 1.
Green Star Number 2 can be found in a purple Warp Block near the gap in the two walls. Use the Brolders to set off the P switches inside.4-4_gs3_screen01
Throw a Brolder at Green Star Number 3 that's hovering over some lava to your left before the green warp pipe.
Use the jump pads to race to the finish and collect Green Star Number 1.
Avoid the spiky ants and you'll find Green Star Number 2.
Run away from the giant Banzai Bill to find Green Star Number 3 waiting for you.
Dodge spike logs from your left and right and you'll be rewarded with Green Star Number 4.
Green Star Number 5 is at the end of a narrow and winding wooden platform. You can long jump across the gaps.
Make it across the narrow platform without getting crushed by the Thwomps to find Green Star Number 6.
Leap across the swaying platforms for Green Star Number 7.
Quickly defeat the various types of Goombas to get Green Star Number 8.
Run across another narrow and winding path while avoiding Bullet Bills and Green Star Number 9 will be your reward. You can long jump across the gaps.
Green Star Number 10 can be gathered after sprinting across the Donut Lifts and avoiding the spike logs.
