Home > Over 3 Million Wii U Units and Just Under 12 Million Software Sales Reached
Nintendo released the sales figures for the Wii U today. According to NIntendo, 3.06 million Wii U units have been sold.
This is split three ways, with 1.32 million in North America, 900,000 in Europe, and 830,000 in Japan.
The software sales have reached 11.69 million.The most successful games released for Wii U are Nintendo Land, which sold 2.33 million copies and New Super Mario Bros. U, which sold 2.01 million.
The actual amount of units and software sold greatly differ from the estimated sales.
5.5 million consoles and 24 million copies of software were estimated to be sold.
