On Tuesday it was reported that a few shops in Canada and Italy were selling Pokémon X and Y early. A user on Instagram,
Kosthedin was one of the few people to pick up this game before release and leak images on Instagram. After hearing the news, Nintendo flew a representative down to retrieve the copy. Kosthedin gave up his copy of Pokémon X so his friend who sold it to him wouldn't get fired and the store wouldn't get in trouble. All leaked images have since been taken off Instagram. Pokémon X and Y celebrate a worldwide release on Saturday, October 12.
