Bottles are some of the most useful items in Zelda games. You can store potions and fairies in them, which can be a good help for you in your quest. In A Link to the Past, there are 4 bottles for you to get. Are you searching for them and pulling your hair out because you can’t find them? Don’t worry. Below is a guide you can use to get all of them easily.
Bottle #1 Location: Kakariko Village World: Light World Requirements: 100 rupees
| - From the sanctuary, go west to Kakariko Village. In the northwest part of the village, you will find a man sitting on a carpet with four jars to the left of him. Talk to him, pay him 100 rupees, and he will give you an empty bottle. |
 |
Bottle #2 Location: Kakariko Village World: Light World Requirements: Nothing
| - Go to the southeastern part of Kakariko Village, where you will find a long shaped house. Go inside and you will notice that it is a tavern. You will also notice a treasure chest that you cannot reach on the other side of the north wall. Go back outside, and go through a secret entrance behind the tavern. Once inside, lift the pots and open the chest. The chest contains the second bottle. |
 |
Bottle #3 Location: Under the bridge east of Link’s house World: Light World Requirements: Zora Flippers
| - Go to Link’s house in the Light World. From here, head east a screen, where you will find a bridge. The third bottle is located under this bridge. To get under it, go south a screen, where you will be able to get into the water. Jump into the water, and swim straight east to the other side of the lake. Don’t go up from the water, but swim north a screen and west a screen. Continue to swim west, and you will swim under the bridge. Once you are under, go up from the water and talk to the man who is there. He will give you the third bottle. |
 |
Bottle #4 Location: Entrance to Desert World: Light World Requirements: Titan’s Mitt, Tempered sword (Lv3 sword)
| - First, you have to get your sword tempered (see “Upgradesâ€). When you have done so, go to the blacksmith where you got your sword tempered, but this time in the Dark World. In the Dark World, the blacksmith is a wrecked house. Go inside it, and a purple treasure chest, that you cannot open, will start following you. - Use the Magic Mirror to get to the Light World, and bring the treasure chest to the speechless man sitting by a sign by the entrance to Desert. Avoid using your Pegasus Boots on the way. If you do, the chest will let go and you’ll have to make it follow you again. When you have brought the treasure chest to the speechless man, he will start talking. He will open the chest if you promise not to tell anyone that he was once a thief. The chest contains the last bottle. |
