Now that we have upgraded our sword, our shield, and acquired many new items, we can begin the short trek to the first dungeon of the game. If you are still at the secret shop where you purchased the blue ring, travel down 3 screens, right 4 screens, up 3 screens, and left 1 screen. Here you will see a tree with a cave-like entrance in it, along with a Red Octorok. Enter the tree to begin your adventure through the Eagle Labyrinth, the very first dungeon of the very first game of the Zelda series. Later in the game you will find that the first room of every dungeon starts off pretty much the same; there are a four columns of statues, and no enemies. You will see a door in front of you that is locked. To proceed to the next room you will need a key, but there is also a glitch to unlock it. If you are too lazy to retrieve the key yourself, then exit the dungeon and re-enter to find that the door has magically been unlocked. Now, if you want to take the more honorable route like a true hero, then  enter the room to your left, kill the bat-like Keese and grab the key, or go left and kill the Stalfos with the key (The key should be visible through the Stalfos who possesses it). I also recommend that you get both keys, you might need them before you get the Magic Key.
Now that you have the first key you can remove the lock from the door in the starting room and progress further through the dungeon. This next room contains 3 Stalfos but the only spoil they drop is rupees, so kill them or avoid them and enter the next room. This room has 5 more Stalfos, although upon kill these enemies you will receive another key; you can also bomb the wall at the top of the screen. From here enter the room on the right, because after killing the Keese in here you will obtain the Compass, a tool which will show you the location of the Triforce piece.
From this room you can bomb your way through the upper wall, but I prefer to go back left 2 screens. In this room you will see that the door locks itself behind you, and there is a fairly large amount of Keese here. Kill the Keese to reopen the door you came in through, then use a key to open the door at the top of the screen. In this room kill the blobs (known Gels), then push the block in the middle to open the door on your left. It is not necessary that you enter this room, but the Old Man will reveal a hint about where you can find the boss and the Triforce shard. From the Old Man’s hideout go right 2 screens, kill the 5 Gels, and grab the Dungeon Map; now you can see every room of the dungeon.
Our next stop is the Bow. Go up 1 screen, kill the Stalfos with the key, and use it to unlock the door. In this room you will find enemies called Red Goriyas; kill them to take the key and enter the room on the left. Be cautious in this room, because the four blue spike blocks in the corners are called Traps. When you step in front of them they will rush towards you. Avoid the Traps and make you way to the left side of the blocks surrounding the staircase. Push the leftmost block up or down and descend down the stairs. Every time you see a room like this there will be 4 Keese, and either a dungeon item or another staircase. In this dungeon, you will see the Bow. You can kill the Keese or just avoid them to acquire the Bow. Go back up the stairs and exit this room while avoiding the Traps, and then go down 2 screens.
Now that we have the Bow, you can shoot Arrows, just know that you will lose on rupee every time you shoot. In this room you can enter through the locked door on your right, but if you do not wish to waste your keys, then bomb your way through the bottom wall if you haven’t already, go right 1 screen, and then bomb your way through the top wall. In this room, kill the 3 Goriyas, and the Boomerang will appear. Grab the Boomerang and travel right 1 screen. Here giant blue hands called Wall Masters will appear when you touch the wall. If these enemies grab you they will send you to the beginning of the dungeon. You can stand on the wall and keep killing the Wall Masters, because eventually they will stop spawning.
Once you are ready enter the room at the top of the screen and you will see the first boss, which is known as Aquamentus. To kill this pathetic excuse for a boss just hit him in the head with either your sword, bombs, or arrows, while avoiding the three fire balls he shoots at you; with the White Sword this boss should be no more difficult than crushing a dead fly. Once Aquamentus dies, enter the room on the right and obtain the first piece of the Triforce to complete the first dungeon.
