At this stage in the game the dungeons and enemies are going to start catching up to our current set of equipment. Luckily for us the next Sword upgrade and the item we need to retrieve it are fairly close to the next dungeon. From the Lizard Labyrinth go down 1 screen, left 7 screens, and down 1 screen. To upgrade our sword we will need the Power Bracelet which can be found on this screen. Touch the Armos statue on the top right and it should move out of the way revealing the bracelet that will allow us to move heavy rocks and graves. Now that we have the Power Bracelet, go left and down 1 screen, left 2 screens, and up 1 screen. In this graveyard you will discover a new enemy known as a Ghini. Ghinis are ghost like enemies, and touching most of the graves will summon more Ghinis. On each screen you will notice that there is always 1 Ghini on the screen; killing this one will eliminate any other Ghini on the screen, so if you are short on rupees this is a great technique to gain more money. Anyways, on the current screen you will need to push the tombstone in row 3, column 3; doing this will reveal a staircase.Walk down the stairs and you will enter a cave with the Old Man. If you have been following along you should have more than enough Heart Containers to be able to wield the Magic Sword, the most powerful sword in the game.
Now we can continue on to the next dungeon with our new sword, which can kill Vires without them splitting into Keese. To get to the Dragon Labyrinth simply travel down, right, and up 1 screen, and descend down the staircase into Level 6. At the start of this dungeon go right 1 screen and you will discover the single most annoying enemy in the entire game, Wizzrobes. The Red Wizzrobes aren’t very difficult; the blue ones however, are very annoying and dangerous. Kill the Wizzrobes in this room and grab the key, and if you want you can use the key on the top door, but the only thing in that room is the Old Man with some advice. No matter what you decide to do, go back to the starting room and head left. You can kill the Wizzrobes in this room if you want and go up 1 screen. Kill all of the Zols here, grab the Compass, and head up again. Kill all of the Keese to unlock the the top door and take the key. Go up 2 screens, while avoiding the Traps in the first room. Here is the first room in the game where you will have to fight Blue Wizzrobes, my favorite enemies in the game... Kill them along with the Red Wizzrobes and Like Likes so you can push the block on the left and continue. On this next screen you have two options again. After you kill the Wizzrobes and grab the blue rupee that appears, you can either go up 1 screen and be forced to fight a 3-headed Gleeok, or you can skip that room by bombing the wall on the right. Personally I like to go through all the rooms in a dungeon so if you want to take the bomb option just scroll down to the bolded text. This Gleeok has 3 heads, but it shouldn’t be any harder than the 2-headed Gleeok considering that we have more hearts and the Magic Sword. After you kill the dragon, go right 1 screen, kill all the enemies and take the Dungeon Map. If you took the option of bombing the wall, you will want to head up to this room and start following along again. The path I recommend using here is going up to the next room. Kill all the Wizzrobes here, push the block on the left to reveal a staircase. Go down the stairs and you will find a new item known as the Magic Wand. This item shoots out waves of magic similar to the waves that Wizzrobes shoot. Once you resurface use a bomb on the right wall, and in the next room bomb the wall on the right again to receive more advice from the Old Man. Go down into the next room that is filled with Wizzrobes and Like Likes. Fortunately you can avoid the enemies here and go left 1 screen. Kill the Red Wizzrobes in this room to obtain another key, then go left another screen. Now we are back where we started, but with a cool new item, advice, and a key. Go down 1 screen and you will find more Wizzrobes, because apparently this dungeon is ruled by these magic-shooting pests. If you chose to avoid the Gleeok fight but didn’t kill the Wizzrobes here then do so to make a key appear. Proceed by going down again and for the first time in this dungeon you will find Vires. With the Magic Sword these beasts shouldn’t be a problem, once the door is unlocked go through it to the next room. This can be a rather annoying room, as it is filled with Wizzrobes, Like Likes, and there is a Bubble, but once you kill the Like Likes and Wizzrobes push the block in the middle of the room to reveal another staircase. This staircase leads to a different part of the dungeon near the boss.
Upon surfacing on the other side of the staircase immediately go down 1 screen. Kill the Vires in this room and grab the key. Go left 1 screen and kill all the Wizzrobes while avoiding the Traps. You can go down if you want, but killing the enemies there will just give you bombs which we will not need for the boss. Once you are ready, go up from the room with the Traps and you will meet the boss of this dungeon, who makes appearances in many future Zelda titles; his name... Gohma. Now to kill this boss simply shoot a single arrow into his eye when it opens. I might hold a record for this boss, who knows, but the first time I fought Gohma I immediately pressed the B button and that arrow killed it. Once he is dead, take the Heart Container, go up 1 screen, take the Triforce shard and you will exit the dungeon.
