The First Hall Follow the path to your right. It is straight here, just continue down the stairs. Hit the spider webs with your sword so you don’t get stuck in them. Near the end of the hall, you’ll find a wall with vines and a Deku Baba at the top. Stun the monster with your sling shot, then hit the pink crystal behind it as well. If you’re quick, you can stun the Deku Baba and climb up to hit the crystal with your sword. Either way, once you hit the crystal, you can exit through the door to your left. In this room, climb up the stairs, and move closer to the door until the eye above it opens. Twirl your sword in a circle in front of it, it will become confused and fall off, and the door will open. The First Central Room To start with, the room will have green spikies all over the floor, and some Deku Babas on the ceiling. Fight these enemies as you normally would, and spin attack or roll if a spiky clings to you. They usually drop things. Once you’re out of the small hall, if you look behind you, you’ll see a wall with vines and Walltulas. Kill these with your slingshot, climb up the wall, and there will be a wooden blockade. Hit it with your sword, and this creates a shortcut back to the first hall. In the middle of the room, you can choose to go left or right to start with. Starting left is recommended, but it ultimately does not matter. To unlock the door, go under the bridge to the left door, and you’ll find a pink crystal. Shoot it, and the door will open. To go right, hit the crystal above the right door with your slingshot. Through the left door, walk forward and you’ll find a Bokoblin and a Skulltula. From the front, you can’t hurt the Skulltula, so ignore it for now. To your right of the Skulltula, you’ll find a sort of tree trunk, and in front of it vines you have to shoot. Shoot both vines if you can, but start by swinging into the space on the bridge between the two Skulltulas. From there, you will see another pink crystal to shoot with your slingshot. Do so, and the water on the temple’s floor will rise. Swing to the other side. If you want to kill the Skulltulas, get behind them and stab the purple spot on their backs. If they break free from their webs and crawl around, you can hit them onto their backs with a good horizontal strike and finish them off. Once you’re done with the room, go through the door. Walk up the tree, and in the chest you’ll find the Dungeon Map. Once this is done, go ahead and jump off back into the main room’s floor. Through the right door you’ll find a spider web, and if you continue you’ll find a Skulltula hanging on a thread. The message behind it only tells you how to open the second door, you don’t have to fight the Skulltula. Jump off, and on the left wall you’ll find a little hole to crawl through. Inside, you’ll find another crystal to shoot. Shoot it, and the water will rise. Climb up the vine wall, walk through the tunnel, and you’ll find yourself near the entrance. Leave the room. Once the water has completely risen, a couple logs will be high enough for you to jump on. Near the bird statue, and to the right of the bridge, there’s a log leading to a wall of vines. Get to the vines (mind the walltula) and climb up and to the right. Go up the stairs nearby, and through the door. Down the stairs, you’ll find a Skulltula on a thread. Hit it horizontally to send it swinging around, and hit its back when you get the chance. When it’s defeated, stand between the two eyes guarding the chest, position yourself so both will open at once. Then, just like before, make circular motions with your sword so they will get confused and die. Collect your treasure. Once you’re done in here, go back to the main room through the door you came through, or jump into the water to leave from the door on the main room’s right. Now, with your key, you can finally go through the locked door at the end of the room. The Main Hub Right in front of, and above you, is a pink crystal. Shoot it, as always, and the door in front of you will unlock. Go in, and you’ll find the dungeon’s Miniboss – the Stalfos. Much like the bokoblins, you fight this monster with your sword, and to defeat it, hit it repeatedly in its vulnerable area until it dies. When it does, a treasure chest will appear, containing the Beetle.  Fi and the game will teach you how to use it. Once you’re comfortable with the beetle, point it at the spider web on the wall leading to the rest of the room and send it off. The beetle can cut through the spider webs. Once it’s out there, turn it right and hit the pink crystal you used to get into the room. The door will unlock. Go back out. Outside the Miniboss room, go right until you see a barred off door with a bird statue next to it. Above the door, you will see two square holes. Fly your beetle into either one, and go through it until you find a crystal to hit. Do so, and the door will unlock. Go in. In the first room, just walk forward. You’ll have to jump off a ledge, and for the time being you can’t go back. Next you’ll find yourself in a room with 3 eyes guarding a treasure chest. Firstly, walk near the center of the room and you’ll be greeted by a Skulltula. Like before, hit it horizontally and it will turn over on its back. Now you can finish it off quickly, and the door out will unlock. Now, to the right of where you walked in you’ll find a wall with vines. Climb up, and in front of you will be a crate hanging on a spider’s thread. Just like before, have the beetle cut the thread and the crate will fall. Push it off the edge, and into the middle of the room. It needs to be exactly in the middle so that you can stand on it and have all 3 eyes open. Once this is done, twirl the sword around, and they will die like before, and you can get the chest. Leave the room. You’ll be facing the way you came in, but you can’t get there now. Send the beetle forward, avoid hitting the trees, through the spider web, and hit the crystal. The water in the room will rise and you can reach the staircase. Go forward, and you’ll find some trees blocking a hole in the ground. Cut them down (you can use stabs or vertical slices to completely get rid of them) and crawl through the hole. You’ll be back at the door, go through it back to the main room. Go to the door directly across the main room. You’ll find a tightrope, and some Deku Babas on the ceiling. Pull out your beetle and send it at their vines. They’ll appear when the beetle gets close. Once the path is clear, continue across the rope and to the door. The Second Hall Inside there’s a small hallway, and at the end, you’ll find a new enemy – the Staldra. To defeat this enemy, you have to destroy all three of its heads at once. If you destroy one or two of its heads, it will reel back and respawn them, and they will all be horizontal. This is the easiest time to strike. Once it is defeated, the doors will open and you can continue through. Follow the path. You’ll find a bokoblin and a Skulltula. To get rid of the Skulltula, just attack its thread with your beetle. Continue and you’ll be in the final room before the Boss. There’s a crystal to your right above a door to your left. Hit this with your slingshot or beetle and it will open up to the Main room. Before the Boss’ Chamber Walk across the tightrope. To get rid of the bokoblin, like before, attack it with your slingshot (or beetle), wait for it to start crossing the rope, hit it again, and it will fall. Now cross. Once you’re on the other side, go right, up the wall of vines (to your left there is a chest with 20 rupees). At the top, to your left will be a rope stuck to a plant. Hit the plant, and the rope will break free. Jump to the rope, and turn slightly to your right. Swing to where you can land. Climb up, and walk across the tree’s limb. You’ll find two vines curled up. Hit them with your slingshot or beetle, and swing across until you’re at the next solid ground. Here you’ll find a large white chest with the Golden Carving inside. Climb up the wall of vines, and jump off to the space in front of the door. Walk across the tightrope again, and open the boss door with the carving. The puzzle is simply solved by turning the piece right twice from its starting point. When you’re ready, go inside. Demon Lord Ghirahim Stage 1 When the fight starts, Ghirahim will slowly walk up and stand in front of you. When your sword is out, he will hold his hand right in front of it constantly. If you try to simply hit him or his hand, he will grab the sword, and if you don’t wrest it back from him, he will steal it. He will try to attack you with it, but only a couple times. You can retrieve it either when he throws it at you, or if you hold your shield out and he hits it. To get an attack in, you have to be careful. Hold your sword out in front of you in one spot. Wait for him to put his hand in front, and pause a brief moment. Then, carefully move your sword to a different spot. Then, strike. Ghirahim’s hand will stay where it was, but if you pause for too long, he will block your sword again. If you are very quick, you may be able to strike him just if his hand is in a different spot, without waiting. Otherwise, he will likely just dodge. If you stand for a long time in front of him, he will slap you. Stage 2 Ghirahim has several more attacks now with a sword.
Since the battle with Ghirahim does not follow the frequent 3 strikes at a weak point style, the battle will end without warning. Grab the heart container he drops, and head out the door opposite from where you entered. A cutscene will finish off the temple.
