Xenoblade Chronicles Switch 2 Edition

Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 are all getting Nintendo Switch 2 Editions to join the already available Xenoblade Chronicles X - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. This means that every Xenoblade game will have a native Switch 2 edition available by the time the newly annouced Xenoblade Genesis game launches next year.

Xenoblade Chronicles Switch 2 Edition

Each of these Switch 2 Editions will provide a 4K resolution and 60 fps gameplay. Xenoblade Chronicles - Definitive Edition will also feature a new vehicle from overworld traversal and fully voiced heart to heart cutscenes. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are also getting new content in the form of additional battle modes.

Xenoblade Chronicles Switch 2 Edition

Each of these games will be available in digital and physical form as a standalone version of the game. Additionally, upgrade packs for the Switch 1 versions will be available digitally for $9.99 each. The release dates are as follows:

  • Xenoblade Chronicles - June 9 (digital), July 30 (physical)
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - July 30 (digital), October 1 (physical)
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - December 3 (digital & physical)
